Stop what?

It.

That self-destructive thing you do that feels so bad but you keep doing it anyway.

Ever notice that it only really hurts in the moment, but, a hot minute after that, you start obsessing again about how and when and where you can get back at it (without anyone knowing)? Ugh, it sucks. And, it’s hard. But, if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, you can change your ways once and for all.

You don’t need comfort, you need accountability—to your damn self.

  1. Make a commitment to STOP IT.
  2. Tell your BFF what’s up—we can’t go it alone, ever.
  3. Ready yourself with three healthy coping skills that will compete with that bad habit (e.g., create something, go for a jog, sing your favorite song, FT your cool aunt).
  4. Count the days of abstinence and celebrate yourself every 30 days.

  5. There you go, girl. That’s how you give yourself a chance.
